I love noodles. I never did, but once I started cooking for myself I found out just how to turn them into the perfect dish. Like noodle soup. Add any vegetable you like, meat if preferred, cook this in a strong broth et voila! Delicious dinner or lunch is served. You don’t even need a recipe! Now, a little while ago I bought a spiralizer… So I decided to make some carrot noodles to go with this!

Being a foodie, one of my goals is to learn how to bake breads at home. From scratch! This can be rather tricky, which is why I’ve started with the easier varieties. Such as this delicious focaccia bread! It wasn’t at all as hard as I thought, and the smell that will fill your house is worth the 3 hour wait. Plus: freshly baked bread will beat store bought any day of the week!

One of the things I’ve found to be most rewarding in cooking is making everything from scratch. This homemade chicken broth is perfect to add flavour to soups, sauces or stews, or to simply enjoy at lunch! It’s super easy as well: you just toss some ingredients in a pan with water and wait. Oh, and it’s super customizable!

Even though I’ve shared my fair share of vegetable variates, I don’t usually share recipes for cooking meat. (Apart from this Meatballs in Smokey BBQ sauce recipe… ;)) I really want to change this, as it’s so easy to marinate and roast e.g. chicken to perfection! You can put it in the oven right away, or let the meat marinate for a few hours to get that extra intense flavour.
