Snail Mail friends booklet, an easy DIY video!

As I told you in some of my other videos: I’m totally into crafting right now! I find it the perfect way to get rid of stress – writing letters, crafting little envelopes… It’s super relaxing.

And yes, I’ve been busy with snail mail, too! Currently I’m writing with 5 Dutch girls, 1 from Belgium and 1 from Scotland. I’m also chatting with a girl from Canada, to see if we would ‘match’! Quite the variety, ey? If you would’ve told me a month ago that I’d ever go back to offline letter writing, I’d have laughed at you!

However, now that I’ve started… I’m in love. That jolt of happiness that goes through me when I open the mailbox to find a pretty envelope! Also, I’ve met some pretty great girls. I really get along well with some of them – I never thought I’d make new friends this way!

Anyway, that brings me to the subject of today. My snail mail friends booklet! You see, I’m a pretty messy person. Some of the addresses I have written down on a scrap of paper somewhere, other addresses are in my e-mail, and then there’s some addresses I only have on the back of the envelopes my penpals sent me. If I lose the letter, I lose the address!

This made me want to have a space where I could keep all the addresses together. However, I didn’t want it to be just an address book… No, I thought it would be fun to store some information in there as well! So here’s what I did: I crafted little cards that I sent to my penpals, they fill it in and send it back to me, and I turn it into a little booklet. Easy, right?! Plus, they get to decorate it so I know exactly how to personalize their letters in the future.

The back of the cards is still empty, which I might use as well. I could write down random facts about my penpals, that I don’t want to forget.

Anyway, I’ll leave you to it now… Video is down below, and for the printables you can go HERE!
