Granola is super easy and can be done in no time. It’s highly customizable: add any ingredient you like!
Yes, you read that right… I am on YouTube! I filmed my very first video yesterday, and decided to edit and upload it right away. I’ve started with something suuuuper simple: a bit as a test for myself, too. And who doesn’t love granola, right?
You may be wondering why I decided to make videos all of a sudden. Well, I’m bored. I’ve been ill on the couch for almost a week now, and it’s driving me nuts! I miss cooking (I mean, I still cook but I can hardly taste anything…) I miss grocery shopping and the farmers’ market, I miss going to the library, I miss working on my blog… Laying on the couch and watching series (NCIS!) all day may sound like a dream, but I’ve had enough of it.
I never thought I’d ever say that! When I was a kid, I’d always hope that I would get sick so that I could stay home from school. And watch tv all day. But now, I get so restless! Temporarily taking a step back by quitting my education was a good move, but it makes me feel more like I have to prove myself in other aspects of my life. Does that make sense?
And then, there’s the step to YouTube. Actually I’ve been thinking about this for a while, and my cousin Dagmar (find her here) motivated me even more. She just took the leap from blogging to vlogging and I thought: “why the heck not”!
My video (it’s my first one okay!) is different from hers because I don’t speak, I only show you how to make granola. However, who knows what might happen in the future. I just know that I LOVE food, and I love this whole blogging and writing thing, and I think making videos could be a nice addition to that. Let’s see how I go from here!
Homemade granola in 3 simple steps
Okay, so I think I should just share the video with you now. I’m actually very self-conscious even though you only see my hands… Insecurity will always be a thing I guess! But that’s how I felt about blogging at first, too. It’s always scary to put yourself out there for the world to see 😉
Just keep in mind that this is my very first video, I’m still learning and I definitely learned a lot from editing this one alone. Please like & subscribe to my channel if you’re interested!
The steps & ingredients can be found in the description below the video, too.
See you soon,
