Merry Christmas!

Hey guys, just a quick message from me 🙂

First of all: Merry Christmas, and a happy new year!
I hope 2017 will bring more happiness, less stress, new opportunities and friendships! Let’s make it a great year, shall we?

Any new years resolutions? I know I’m not really good at those, so I’m just going to focus on being happy.

December

This year I don’t have a super busy December: we’re going for a long walk with my family, and we’ll enjoy late lunch after. I think this is a great idea because no one has to stress about cooking and table settings and stuff, and enjoying a walk together is a great way to be able to talk to everyone! We’re also planning on visiting the cemetery, as this is the first year that we’ll celebrate Christmas without my grandparents.

Then, the boyfriend and I prepare a big brunch/lunch/dinner for the second day of Christmas. This will be just us, my parents, my brother and my grandma from mom’s side. I’m really looking forward to it: I’ve been planning the menu for a while now, and I think it’ll be both delicious AND not too stressful for me. And I’ve decided to make two desserts, who’s going to stop me 😉

We’re not going to celebrate New Years eve with a big party this year: for now I prefer a nice evening in with the boyfriend. And Noes, our cat, who is easily scared and hasn’t been introduced to fireworks yet… Wouldn’t want to leave her alone on a night like that, anyway!

Stay Alive and Cooking

Yes, of course I have a new years resolution: work on my blog as much as I can! I can’t wait to show you what 2017 is going to bring, it even involves a new face at stayaliveandcooking.com…. Hope you’re as excited as I am!

To be able to enjoy Christmas and time with the family in general, I’ve decided to go offline this end of year. Only offline from stay alive and cooking, I could never live without my phone!! I’ll be back in January with new recipes of course! Hopefully this week of absence will also give me some space: I like planning multiple posts so I don’t have to worry about deadlines 😉 Anyone else?

2017

I really really really hope to see you again in 2017, and I thank you for the support so far. It really means a lot to me <3
