Too lazy to go outside for dinner, or cook your own? Why not order in! Today I review the sushi from the Geisha Lounge in Breda.

Food food food
So I have a little confession to make. You see, I have an addiction… To food. Okay okay, you already know that, but lately it’s been getting worse. As long as I’ve lived on my own, there has been the option to order in. However, this never really sparked my interest…. Until now.
You guys remember when I got the credit to try out the new Deliveroo service in Breda, right? Well, that has opened up a new world for me. Uhoh. I always associated ordering in with greasy pizzas or something similar, not with super fresh sushi!
I wrote a review with Deliveroo already, but I wasn’t suuuuper happy with what we ordered then. So, I figured I’d give it another shot! 😉
Geisha Lounge in Breda
Now before you’re wondering why I ordered the sushi in: I was lazy. And alone. The Geisha Lounge is actually a 5 minute walk from my house…. Haha!
Anyway, I figured I’d treat myself to something nice. Which brings me to sushi! I have been to the Geisha Lounge before, with my friends, and we ate soooo much that I thought I’d never be hungry again. Everything was so good! They had a lot of ‘typical’ sushi, but also some varieties that aren’t super custom in the Netherlands.
Again, I could track the delivery guy (by bike) on my phone, which I still think is pretty cool! When I got the notification that he arrived, I started preparing Noes… But when the doorbell rang she still sprinted away, little coward of a kitty.
Naturally I ordered some of my favourites: avocado maki, shrimp tempura & avocado rolls, salmon nigiri and seared tuna nigiri. To my surprise this was served with some fresh soy beans (yumm!) and a small seaweed salad.
When I opened the box, my mouth started watering. Everything looked so fresh and vibrant! The sushi I ordered wasn’t the hardest to prepare, but I was still happy everything was to my liking. Big plus.
The order came with chopsticks, soy sauce and ginger, which is a positive point as well. Deliveroo advertises that they can also deliver your food to you when you’re in the park or wherever, so some cutlery is quite handy!
I don’t think I have to say it…. But this was definitely a success! Can’t wait ’till I’m home alone again, so I can order some more 😉
What’s your favourite food to order in? And would you have ordered the same sushi mix, or something else? See you soon!
