This delicious apple oatmeal breakfast crumble with cinnamon is the perfect way to start your day. It’s super simple too!
Okay, admit it: the best part of celebrating your birthday is having pie for breakfast. Well do I have some good news for you: there’s a way to have guilt-free pie like breakfasts as often as you please!
That’s right, I’m going to share with you today one of my favourite ways to start the day if I have a little more time on my hands. It’s also great as a dessert: even better if you add some vanilla or cinnamon ice cream! Continue reading….
This comforting yet light and refreshing soup is a great alternative to the regular tomato soup. | Stay Alive and Cooking
I love tomato soup. And I also love cooking with ingredients I wouldn’t normally use, like fennel. The fennel adds a fresh touch to the soup, which goes great with the sweet tomatoes. It’s not overpowering at all, and I ended up really liking it!
I’M BACK! There was a bit of radio-silence from my end but now I’m here again with a delicious, crunchy, zingy, vegan (!) and gluten free shredded Thai salad with chilli lime dressing. So good! Perfect for those days where you just can’t be bothered to cook, or when you feel like stuffing yourself with veggies and vitamins. Let’s go!
These healthy zucchini “boats” are filled with beans, corn, red onion and herbs to resemble a gluten free and vegan taco dish. Both delicious and very filling!
Every once I cook a dish with only vegetables and beans. This can be a challenge, as it’s not always as filling as my regular meals: we’re so used to eating either meat or potatoes/rice/pasta! However, this dish meets the requirements of a regular meal. We were soooo full!
When I started studying and living on my own, I had no clue how to make my vegetables more interesting. I’d very often have one of those cans of peas, or some broccoli, or a salad… So, if you’re a student like me and you don’t know how to make your veggies delicious, you’ve come to the right place! These roasted carrots are crunchy, sweet, healthy and simply very tasty.
Because they are roasted with just a little bit of oil, they are quite nice and healthy, too! You can eat leftovers the next day for lunch, or put them in a salad…. Endless possibilities 😉
